I’m a tall guy (6’2"), and I’ve recently taken up golf. I borrow a friend’s set, but he’s shorter than I am, and I have to crouch pretty low in order to make contact with the ball when I swing. Needless to say, that’s not comfortable, and I’ll never improve my game if I keep playing that way.
I want to buy my own set, but first I need to know what to look for in order to get a set that "fits". Any tips?
All of the clubs are too short.
Ok, i started golfing in May. When i started on par 3 courses, i would shoot 95-100 for the first few rounds. since then i have got a membership at my nearby par 72 course (6 p5′s, 6 p4′s and 6 p3′s). I’ve played roughly 10 rounds, and since my scores have dropped to high 80′s and low 90′s. I am currently visiting the states and played a par 72 course (Cherry Hill, Ft. Wayne Indiana) -i shot 91. Tomorrow i am playing for money with two uncles and a cousin. They have been playing for a few years more but our scores are relatively the same- with an 87 i could win our 40$ pot. I know i can do it if i have the right advice. So how can I drop a few strokes off my game- any tips and tricks will help! Thanks!
I have never had a lesson before but i have an hour lesson with one of the better teachers in the area. Any tips going into this? my main goal is to help get my 260 yard slice straightened out, but i hear sometimes pros see other flaws in your game and ignore what you want to be taught
I have a new set of clubs, and I am new to the game.
The set is complete, but I have no idea how they should be organized in my golf bag.
Can anyone offer any tips on the best way to store them, grouped so they won’t damage eachother?
Many thanks.
