heres something that helps me out on drives, dont look at were you are hitting after you set up in your stance, walk up to your ball from behind and line up without looking down the fairway, just concentrate on the ball untill you have finished your swing, i find this helps me take my concentration off where the ball is going and puts it on just making solid contact with the ball, and i hit it straiter, because if i look down the fairway and see bunkers to the left or right then i try too hard to hit it away from them and end up slicing
Picture the shot in your minds eye and let it happen when you are playing golf. This is different than practice. Actually visualize the ball flying toward your intended target (center of fairway, center of green). Letting your natural ability take over is the key to enjoying the game of golf. Practice until you are proficient enough to not think about the swing while playing. Focus on the shot at hand. It’s almost a trance type of feeling. Getting lost in the shot. The old "Caddyshack" quote "Be the ball" is right.

Aim small, miss small. lol – sorry, this was just too tempting.
You start out by YELLING, FOUR good luck and keep a few extra balls in your pocket.
