There are two of us and it’s really for the sun we are going (hope we get the good weather while we are there!) but I just wanted to know are there any places we should be heading to, is this area a quiet location?

Hi there – so your are coming over here to spend some time in the sun?? Well that´s not a problem – the temperatures in the day are varying between 25 and 28 degrees at the moment – but the evenings do cool down to a respectable 16 – 18 degrees, pleasant for sleeping!
Situated just a 15 minute drive away from Tenerife South’s Reina Sofia airport Golf del Sur is a very beautiful area. The fairly long stretch of road leading into the Golf del Sur is lined with traditional palm trees and there’s plenty of greenery around thanks to the surrounding golf course.
The area you are going to is being upgraded all the time and is really nice – plenty of things to do and plenty of places to eat and drink
With the new marina and beach now in place – it increases you chances to enjoy yourselves.
