Swing the club, but not too hard.
Jack Nichlaus has a real good video called "Golf My Way." Some video rental stores have them. There are several good golf schools available nation wide. I went to Ben Sutton golf school about 15 yrs ago. After 5 days I came home and put the instruction to practice & dropped my handicap from 24 to 4 in one year. They teach you the complete game Tee to Green. You can’t get that from a video. I watched several videos before I went. I found that when a pro teaches you as you practice is the best way to lower your score.

try golf is not a game of perfect its a book video teaching is useless unless you fully understand your swing and set up. go to a good pro have him video you good and bad so you can refer to it whenever you want.
