The best thing to do is go to the manufactures websites and find out when the next Demo Day is in your area. Go to as many as you can and have them fit you. You may need longer clubs, but the odds are upright a few degrees should be enough. You have to be careful when you make them longer. I don’t care for the way Ping irons look but the people who do the club fitting on demo days are the best. Ping is the only company I can say that about. Before you have someone make you a club, hit some balls before you seal the deal. Don’t let someone say order upright and you will hit it better, ask them where you can find one you can hit to make sure.

The set I ordered was 1 inch over standard length with a stiff shaft. I played a tourney with them yesterday, and they really worked for me.

Look for a set that is 2 degrees upright and 1 inch over length. Stiff shaft.

Go to a golf retailer–not Big 5. A golf shop, and ask for a professional fitting. You could also get one at the local golf course and they will do a good job or you will tell all your friends that they didn’t fit you properly. Also you will get shafts with the correct flex. This is very beneficial.

Hey umm for one you need a driver that hits the ball far a nine iron is the tallest iron but if you go to a golf store and get measured they can find you the write hight/size etc for you…or you can get themn custom made but that might cost a few pennies lol anyway have fun golfing bubye

You need to measure the distance from your wrist to the ground with your arm limp and relaxed. This measurement with your height you can determine the appropriate shaft length by using the chart on this page http://www.bestbuygolfsupply.com/customfitting.asp . I strongly suggest having a qualified professional fit you for some clubs. Most places the sell clubs have the ability to fit you with cubs as a service to you for buying clubs from them.

I don’t know the expectation for the caddies at the club you refer to, but if it’s a private club it’s not about being out in the sun. You’d better love golf and be knowledgeable about the game. Also, if you want to make money you’ll need to understand the importance of customer service. Unless there’s more interest in golf than your question would indicate… you should pass.

It is a good job if you like golf and know the course. But if you don’t fall into both catagories, no caddying. I’d be pissed if i paid for a caddie that didn’t know distances or green slopes

I did it. I was a caddy back in the 60s. There aren’t too many jobs for high school students especially if you don’t have any skills. I enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the 9th hole, they had a hot dog stand and the golfer always paid…Have fun
